Signs That a Tree Needs to be Removed
People often neglect getting a tree on their property removed until it’s too late. Some telltale signs that a tree on your property needs to be removed are:
- Showing signs of decay or disease – whether it’s rotting away at it’s foundations or you’ve seen termites present on your property; if the structural integrity of a tree wears thin it can be incredibly dangerous. This is especially true if it’s close to your building, walkways or neighboring yards.
- Roots growing too closely to piping – tree roots can be catastrophic when they’re growing too closely to your building. They have the potential to burst water pipes or interfere with circuitry, having the potential to cost a fortune in repairs.
- Branches growing into powerlines – trees have the potential to cause a fire when they grow too closely to powerlines. Additionally, they can also cause power surges. Regardless of the tree, if it’s growing into powerlines it needs to be pruned back or removed entirely.
- Overhanging branches – if branches are overhanging your building or walkways, when a storm sweeps through they become really dangerous. Regardless of the beauty of your tree, overhanging branches are something you should be conscious of.
